Our Special Correspondent in Kharkiv sent this report at 15.30 Ukraine time:
Yesterday Kharkiv experienced the strongest apply of air bombing and rocket artillery use, Russians targeted several headquarters of Ukrainian forces – regional police office among others. Relatively minor casualties reported though which reflects the low effectiveness of Russian attacks. The historical downtown is in ruins resembling WWII footages.
The bombing lasted till late evening and restarted 8 am the following morning. Today several attempts of air attacks on the downtown were successfully prevented by the defenders as of 15:30.
