RFE/RL: Savchenko stripped of immunity in Ukraine, detained over ‘terror plot’

Ukrainian security officers have detained Nadiya Savchenko, a lawmaker and former captive of Russia who is accused of plotting a “terrorist” attack on parliament.

Officers detained Savchenko inside parliament on March 22, after fellow lawmakers voted to strip her of her immunity from prosecution and authorize her arrest.
