On April 25, Russia-occupation forces plan to carry out a series of provocations against Ukraine using weapons and military equipment with a “pixel” digital camouflage used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters has said.
“It has been established that one of such provocations should take place in the Debaltseve direction with the involvement of mercenaries from the Union of Donbas Volunteers, who received appropriate instructions from their supervisors to imitate an attack on the positions of the seventh separate motorized rifle brigade of the second Army Corps in order to destroy fortification equipment of leading positions and inflict losses on units of the same brigade,” the headquarters said on Facebook.
In addition, it is noted that losses among the civilian population are not excluded.
“Outraged is the cynicism of the leadership of Russia-occupation forces, which planned to carry out terrorist acts during the Easter service in one of the religious institutions of the Moscow Patriarchate, which can lead to massive losses among the parishioners,” the JFO headquarters said.
Thus, these actions may allow Russia to accuse Ukraine of neglecting moral and religious principles and “genocide of its own people,” as well as to send troops of the Russian Armed Forces to the territory of Ukraine.
In turn, the Joint Forces command assures that it fully adheres to the Minsk Agreements, and puts the blame of possible conflict escalation, as well as the death of people, solely on the leadership of the Russian mercenaries.
