A Russian citizen and his accomplices have been detained in Dnipro region of Ukraine for murdering and burying five people in their backyard, first deputy chief of the Ukrainian National Police Viacheslav Abroskin wrote on Facebook.

“Several days ago, the Dnipro region police detained a Russian citizen and his ‘friends’ who murdered five citizens of Ukraine since the beginning of this year. […] They buried the bodies in their backyard,” Abroskin said.

The reason for those murders is yet unclear, Abroskin said. “It is hard to understand why the murders were committed. Everything started with the joint consumption of alcohol and a quarrel, which led to the murder and the burial of a body,” he said.

“It could have lasted longer but the Dnipro police stopped the slaughter,” he said.
