Soldiers of the Lviv detachment on the Ukrainian-Polish border detained an internationally wanted Lexus car driven by a citizen of the Russian Federation.

“Yesterday, at the international automobile checkpoint Hrushiv on the Ukrainian-Polish border, soldiers of the Lviv detachment detained a foreign car that was on the international wanted list. A 50-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation, driving the car, was going to leave Ukraine,” the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.

So, according to the Interpol database, the Lexus vehicle of Ukrainian registration, produced in 2012, was stolen and has been wanted since 2019. Now the foreign car was handed over to the National Police.

“In 2019, border guards discovered more than 120 vehicles that were wanted, in particular, through Interpol,” the service added.
