You're reading: Sentsov calls his condition pre-critical

Political prisoner, Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov described his condition as pre-critical during a meeting with Russian human rights activist and journalist Zoya Svetova, who came to his colony in Labytnangi, RTVI has reported.

“Doctors of the colony whom Sentsov trusts, are doing what they can do, but do not make any forecasts. The lawyer said that they make drippers and a nutritious mixture that he takes, but this cannot save his life,” Svetova told in an interview with the television channel on August 14.

According to her, the conversation with Sentsov lasted two hours, it was held in his ward in the presence of the head of the colony and two other employees. The human rights activist noted that Sentsov is in a “good and clean” four-place ward.

Svetova said that Sentsov still does not plan to stop the hunger strike and its goal remains unchanged: the release of Ukrainian political prisoners from Russian prisons.
