The Servant of the People Party, Batkivschyna Party and Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity (BPP) have received the most support from respondents of a nationwide poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
According to results of the survey, Servant of the People Party would be supported by 13.1 percent of respondents, Batkivschyna – 8.9 percent, BPP – 7.6 percent and Opposition Platform – For Life – 6.4 percent. All other parties received less than 5 percent support.
According to the poll, Servant of the People Party could garner a quarter of all votes (24.4 percent).
Batkivshchyna Party received support from 16.5 percent, BPP – 14.1 percent and Opposition Party – For Life – 12 percent. Next came the Civil Position Party – 8.3 percent, Radical Party of Oleh Liashko – 5.3 percent and Opposition bloc – 5.1 percent.
KIIS conducted an all-Ukrainian public opinion poll from March 14 to March 22, 2019. The method of personal interviews surveyed 2,004 respondents living in 126 settlements of all regions of Ukraine (except Crimea) on a 3-step stochastic sample with quota selection at the last step, which is representative for the population of Ukraine over 18 years old. In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the survey was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
The statistical error of the sample (with a probability of 0.95 and a design effect of 1.5) does not exceed 3.3 percent for indicators close to 50 percent, 2.8 percent for indicators close to 25 percent, 2.0 percent for indicators close to 10 percent, 1.4 percent – for indicators close to 5 percent.
