Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said he sees no reasons for the government’s resignation at the moment.
“This is a document [action program] based on which the government will be working, regardless of whether it’s been adopted or not. This is our program and our action plan,” Shmygal told journalists after the Verkhovna Rada failed to endorse the government’s action program on June 18.
The government will continue to work together with the parliament, even despite the latter’s refusal to support the program, Shmygal said.
“I don’t see any grounds for the government’s resignation,” Shmygal said.
As reported earlier, the parliament voted on June 4 not to support the government’s program and returned it to the government for finalization.
The parliament also lacked votes on June 18 to endorse the government’s updated action program.
