Gas reserves in Ukrainian storage facilities are sufficient for a quiet passage of the heating season, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Odesa on Oct. 29.
“I want to assure that both our trips to the regions demonstrate and statistics show 100% readiness for the heating season in Ukraine. We have more than 18.5 billion cubic meters of gas in our storage facilities, which is absolutely enough for a calm passage of the heating season this year,” said Shmyhal.
He also recalled that the Cabinet of Ministers ensured compliance with the maximum permissible price by gas suppliers and made a decision to prohibit the disconnection from gas of budgetary institutions and private houses
“Gas will be supplied, there can be no interruptions in the supply of gas and heat,” the Prime Minister stressed.
