In September, before the third wave of signing agreements with the National Health Center of Ukraine, some 142 reorganized healthcare institutions received new licenses required for signing the agreements with the service, the press service of Ukraine’s Health Ministry has reported.

Last month applications to receive new licenses were submitted by 254 institutions (194 primary care institutions and 60 specialized institutions). Only 76 institutions managed to submit the right package of documents and receive the license on the first try, 154 institutions on the second try and 25 institutions on the third try.

Among the most common mistakes, the ministry pointed out the declaration of information about workers whose qualifications do not meet the approved requirements of the Health Ministry, the lack of a minimum list of equipment and medical equipment required to provide the amount of medical aid outlined in clinical protocols and not sufficient staff.

Primary care Institutions that have not yet entered into agreements with the National Health Center must do this before the end of 2018.

The third wave of the signing of agreements will begin late November. The service will report on the exact date in the near future.
