Spain will open up its borders to all kinds of travelers from Ukraine starting on July 27, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs announced on July 24.
To enter Spain, Ukrainian citizens over the age of 12 will have to provide a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 completed at least 14 days before entry, a negative PCR test result 72 hours before entry, a negative rapid test result 48 hours before entry or a certificate of having recently recovered from the disease.
Spain will only accept vaccination certificates with vaccines that are recognized by the European Medicines Agency or the World Health Organization. These include Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
Ukraine now administers Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Sinovac vaccines.
All Ukrainian passengers, including children arriving in Spain by air or sea, must also complete a health control form and receive a QR code in advance.
The QR code will have to be provided at the request of representatives of the air carrier before boarding, as well as sanitary control services upon arrival in Spain.
All detailed information about travelling can be found at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ trip advisory website.
