The volume of construction work in Ukraine in October 2017 increased by 13.1 percent compared to October 2016, while the increase in September 2017 from September 2016 was 10.2 percent.
According to the State Statistics Service, the data are given without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol and part of the ATO zone.
According to the agency, the volume of construction work in October 2017 decreased by 9.6 percent from September, whereas in September 2017 from August 2017 the figure grew by 2.1 percent.
According to the report, in October 2017 the growth in the volume of construction was observed in non-residential construction, while the figure in construction of residential buildings fell by 17 percent. The largest growth was recorded in construction of engineering facilities – by 21.9 percent.
In October 2017 from September 2017 the volume of construction work in construction of residential buildings declined by 19.4 percent, in construction of non-residential buildings by 11.2 percent, and in construction of engineering facilities by 4.8 percent .
