Former First Deputy Chairman of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya (2010-2014) Oleksiy Tamrazov has left a pretrial detention facility on bail, the Ukrayinska Pravda ezine has reported, citing his lawyer Mykola Orikhovsky.
“His friends posted [the bail]. He has already left,” the lawyer said on August 13.
According to him, the bail was posted on August 13 in the full amount determined by the court – Hr 3 million.
As reported, Tamrazov should wear an electronic tracking bracelet and hand over his foreign passports, but the bracelet has not been put on him so far.
Orikhovsky also said that an appeal against the court’s decision on the selection of a preventive measure for his client was already being prepared, but so far the court had announced only a short ruling without a reasoning part.
As earlier reported, on August 9, during a joint sting operation by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office and SBU Security Service the former first deputy chairman of public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia (2010-2014) Oleksiy Tamrazov was arrested as he was attempting to give a large bribe.
