The Kremlin is using Ukraine as a template for cyberwarfare against the West, the country’s leading hacker has told The Times. Andrei Baranovich, 43, an IT expert from Donetsk — better known by his pseudonym Sean Townsend — said Russia had launched repeated cyberattacks on Ukraine in an effort to destabilise the country.
