The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on resolving the situation in Donbas, at a meeting in Minsk (Belarus) on July 2, decided to agree on a mandatory basis the further dismantling of fortifications in Stanytsia Luhanska region (Luhansk region) approved by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) during a week.
“Regarding the further dismantling of fortifications in Stanytsia Luhanska district, it was decided to agree on a schedule for the demolition of these structures within a week, the OSCE SMM should approve the schedule,” said press secretary of the second president of Ukraine, representative of Ukraine in the TCG Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, on Facebook on July 2 evening following the meeting.
As reported, the OSCE SMM had observed the beginning of the disengagement process near Stanytsia Luhanska, which has been disrupted over 80 times since 2016, at noon on June 26.
