The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) has announced the establishment of a new fund to support Ukraine and locally-based initiatives by diaspora organizations.
The Community Development and Advocacy Fund will provide co-financing for a range of projects, including those that support local diaspora community development and youth development, promote an accurate understanding of Ukraine and its people, and inform about Ukraine’s history, culture, and current geopolitical standing.
Money is also available for organized efforts to foster female leadership and promote Ukrainian schooling.
“Together we are building Ukrainian institutions, a real Ukrainian world ,from cradle to grave,“
explained UWC President Paul Grod, who provided $50,000 in seed money to the fund.
