Editor’s Note: The following are remarks by Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, following his meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on the sidelines of the EU-Ukraine Summit 2019, taking place on July 8 in Kyiv.

My dear friends,

This is probably my last visit to Ukraine as head of the European Council. I am proud to have been able to cooperate with you in a spirit of common interests and values. I will remain your friend and ally no matter where the future may take me.
