European Council President Donald Tusk has said the European Union will never recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
“We condemn the aggression of Russia and we will never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea,” Tusk said at a press conference following the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on Friday.
He also noted that the recent death of five Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas is another proof of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
