Batkivschyna party leader Yuliya Tymoshenko has said she believes the upcoming year will be the year of “real changes.”

“I believe we have lived the hardest and most complicated years in the history of our Independence. Henceforth, it will definitely be better,” Tymoshenko said in her address on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and Orthodox Christmas.

The politician said “very soon” Ukrainians will manage to put things right in their home and build a rich and beautiful country.

“I suggest we start the new year with getting united and restoring our love to one another. We have missed this very much,” Tymoshenko said.

She wished happiness, peace, and consent for her compatriots.

“In the new year, we will live in a completely different way! I believe in it,” her statement said.
