You're reading: Ukraine Army Destroys Up To 200 Enemy Troops and Five tanks in Eastern Ukraine

Over the past day on April 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed up to 200 enemy troops, five tanks, one plane and other military vehicles in eastern Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by the East Operational Tactical Group on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the aggressor within the control area of the East Operational Tactical Group. On April 21, 2022, Russian fascist troops launched three attacks. Our artillery systems fired on the groups of enemy personnel and vehicles. Battles are raging,” the report states.

As a result, the Ukrainian military destroyed up to 200 enemy troops, five tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, one armored personnel carrier, one artillery system, one plane, nine motor vehicles and three unmanned aerial vehicles.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and April 21, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 21,000 troops.
