You're reading: Ukraine denounces, withdraws from three more CIS agreements

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has denounced and withdrew from three more agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The relevant decision was made at a government meeting on Sept. 2.

In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers denounced the Agreement on cooperation in the veterinary medicine, which was signed in Moscow (Russia) on March 12, 1993.

Ukraine also withdrew from the Agreement on Cooperation in the sanitary protection of the territories of the CIS member states dated May 31, 2001 (Minsk, Belarus) and the Agreement on the establishment of a coordination council for plant quarantine of the CIS member states dated May 30, 2012 (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan).
