Ukrainian farmers continue the 2021 spring sowing, including in Kyiv Oblast. All Ukrainian regions have seeded a total of 853,260 hectares of wheat, barley, peas and oats as of April 8 or 11% of the expected area, according to the Economy Ministry. Overall, Ukraine will likely to have a total of 15.5 million hectares of gran area in 2021. This includes 7.6 million hectares of spring grains, the ministry has said.
