President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced an agreement with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda regarding the restoration of positive dynamics in trade at the pre-pandemic level.

“Based on the results of this year, we expect that the volumes of bilateral trade in goods and services [with Lithuania] will restore positive dynamics and indicators of the pre-crisis period. We agreed that we will be able to summarize the results of this work at the end of this year, during the next meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania,” Zelensky said at a joint briefing with the President of Lithuania in Vilnius.

He also said that “even with the current dynamic cooperation with Lithuania, there are still many directions and areas in which greater progress can be achieved.”

“First of all, this is the sphere of trade and economic relations, investment and transport-transit cooperation,” the President of Ukraine said.
