You're reading: Ukraine reports four separatist attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours

Russian-led forces mounted four attacks on Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with no casualties reported,  the press- center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

“On March 14, the adversary “fired on our forces’ positions four times, on one occasion using weapons banned by the Minsk Agreements … There are no casualties among our defenders,” the press center said on its Facebook page on March 15 morning.

“In the action zone of the operational-tactical grouping Vostok (East), the Russia-led forces opened fire from 82mm mortars, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack the Ukrainian positions near Bohdanivka, Travneve, Luhanske, and Katerynivka,” the JFO staff said.

“Since March 15 midnight, Russian-led forces haven’t attacked Ukrainian positions yet,” it says.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, one separatist of an illegal armed formation was wounded. What is more, Ukrainian troops destroyed a separatist infantry fighting vehicle.
