Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Romania Dmytro Kuleba and Bogdan Aurescu in a telephone talk have discussed aid to the citizens of both countries in coming back to Ukraine, the Ukrainian minister reported.

“We discussed the problems caused by the COVID-19 and how we deal with them: helping Ukrainians in Romania and Romanians in Ukraine during the travel restrictions,” he wrote on Twitter.

In addition, Kuleba added, he and his Romanian counterpart discussed the importance of remaining sanctions against the Russian Federation.

“Sanctions against Russia should remain in force until it fulfills its obligations. Nothing to do with COVID-19,” Kuleba wrote.
