Leonid Krasnopolskyi from the city of Dnipro created the first comics about Ukrainian soldiers.
“The Guards of the Country” is 10 stories about a war with the pro-Russia separatists in eastern Ukraine. Each hero has his own prototype. The main character has been depicted from the squadron commander of 25th brigade. There is also a female guard with extra powers.
