The Russian-backed militants in the eastern region of Donbas have more tanks and artillery units than German Bundeswehr, the Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko claims in his latest article for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.
Over 700 Russian battle tanks, 1250 artillery systems, 1000 armored carriers and 300 multiple launch rocket units are still pounding occupied zone of Donbas, according to Ukrainian secret services, says the article.
