Russian government has banned import of Ukrainian salt to its territory. The same goes for the salt produced in the United States, European Union, Canada, Australia, Norway, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
Before Moscow has started its crackdown on western food products, Ukraine was one of the main suppliers of salt to Russia.
