The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine receives lists of countries of the “red” and “green” zones according to the incidence rate of COVID-19 from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
“Officially, we receive the information and bring it to our units. So that there are no contradictions regarding those countries that were on one list yesterday and on another one today, we will use official information,” Yuriy Lysiuk, the head of the border control department of the State Border Service, said on Facebook.
During quarantine, the passage of persons from abroad is carried out depending on how widespread the COVID-19 disease is in the country from which each individual person arrived.
The State Border Service receives information from the Ministry of Health every three days.
Countries in the “red” zone are countries in which the number of active cases of COVID-19 disease exceed 40 people per 100,000 of population.
