Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree under which Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko will work as ambassador to Jamaica on a part-time basis.

“To appoint Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ukraine to Jamaica on a part-time basis,” the presidential decree dated May 11 says.

Yelchenko has been Ukraine’s envoy to the UN since December 2015.
