At a regular session on June 24, Kharkiv City Council unanimously approved to award the title of “Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv” to four Kharkiv citizens.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, Chairman of the Kharkiv organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Viktor Kovtun, President of the DCH Group Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, Ukraine’s first seed, a member of the country’s national tennis team Elina Svitolina and Director of Kharkiv Mariinsky Gymnasium No. 6 Oleksandra Zub became the new honorary citizens of Kharkiv.
