The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has established working interaction with all tour operators and airline companies in order to organize the return of Ukrainians from Egypt, said Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

“Many of our compatriots in Egypt were caught by surprise with the situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Today we have established working relationships with all relevant tour operators and airlines in order to be able to organize their return to home,” he wrote on Twitter on March 16.

It was reported that 730 Ukrainian citizens were put under quarantine at a hotel in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh after two tourists have been diagnosed with coronavirus. The Foreign Minister of Ukraine said that among Ukrainians who are under quarantine in Egypt, there are no patients with coronavirus.
