Over the past day the Russia-backed separatists have opened fire 43 times on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas, the press center of the Ukrainian military reported.
The staff of the Ukrainian army said on Facebook on May 17 its positions came under 43 attacks during the day.
“The Ukrainian army had no casualties in the past 24 hours,” the report said.
