The Congress of Latvian Ukrainians and Latvian non-governmental organizations have sent humanitarian aid to Pryluky Central District Hospital, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine said.
“I am sincerely grateful to Chairman of the Congress of Latvian Ukrainians Mykola Pavliuk, his companions and fellows, as well as representatives of Latvian non-governmental organizations for this show of solidarity with Ukraine!” the ministry’s press service cited Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on April 10.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia arranged the transportation of 1.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid and on April 10 it was delivered to Pryluky. The freight contains personal protective equipment, medical outwear, sets of bed linen, disinfectants and other necessary goods.
