According to the new Global Passport Power Rank, published on the Passport Index website, Ukrainian passport holders have the 24th most powerful travel document in the world in terms of the number of countries they can visit visa-free.
Ukraine has jumped six places in the ranking, up from 32nd in 2017, with 10 countries being added this year to its visa-free tally.
The Passport Index website offers online interactive tools to explore world passports, and ranks them annually in order to inform the global public about the mobility of various countries’ citizens.
The website analyzes the passports of 193 United Nations member countries and six territories (ROC Taiwan, Macao (SAR China), Hong Kong (SAR China), Kosovo, Palestinian Territory and the Vatican) – a total of 199.

Thailand, Egypt, Jordan and 38 other countries issue visas to Ukrainians upon arrival.
Sixty-seven countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada still require visas from Ukrainians.
The most powerful passport of the year is that of Singapore citizens, who enjoy visa-free travel to 127 countries.
Second place is shared by Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, South Korea and the United States.
Canada ranked third along with seven other countries. The United Kingdom shares the fourth place with four other countries.
