Over the past day in Donbas, Russian-occupation forces opened fire 11 times on Ukrainian positions using small arms, machine guns and grenade launchers of various systems, as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle was used and one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, the press center of the Joint Force Operation (JFO) said.

“Over the past day, on November 5, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its fighters have violated the agreements 11 times in the areas of responsibility of our combat brigades,” the headquarters said on its Facebook page on Friday.

In particular, nine violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded in the area of ​​responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force. So, near the settlement of Starohnativka, the enemy provoked the JFO servicemen with small arms fire. In the suburb of Avdiyivka, Russian forces opened fire three times, using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. Five violations have been documented at sites in the area of ​​ Vodiane settlement. From temporarily occupied Uzhivka, the enemy fired from small arms, large-caliber machine guns, and grenade launchers of various systems. In addition, the enemy used 82-mm mortars twice a day.

“The insolent actions of the Russian-occupation forces did not go unpunished, the defenders of Vodiane resolutely suppressed enemy activity and forced the enemy to stop shelling with adequate response fire from standard weapons,” the headquarters said.

Two violations of the ceasefire regime in the area of ​​responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force were recorded in areas near the settlement of Popasna. At lunchtime, the enemy provoked the Ukrainian servicemen with heavy machine gun fire. In addition, an unmanned aerial vehicle was used to drop VOG-17 (30 mm grenade) round over the positions of the Joint Forces.

“As a result of the detonation of VOG-17, one serviceman of the Joint Forces received shrapnel wounds. The soldier was promptly taken to a hospital where he is provided with proper medical care. The state of health of the defender is satisfactory,” the press center said.

The report says that “the actions of the Russian-occupation forces were immediately reported by the OSCE representatives through the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of ceasefire issues and stabilization of the delimitation line (JCCC).”

“Since the beginning of this day, November 6, silence has been observed in all sections of the demarcation line, no fire provocations from the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its fighters have been recorded,” the headquarters said.
