A former Ukrainian military officer and treason suspect, Oleksandr Rakushin, who was released from custody under personal recognizance late last month, is on the preliminary list of prisoners to be exchanged between Ukraine and Russia, Rakushin’s lawyer Rodion Pugach said.
“My client was released on his own recognizance in late August. According to preliminary information, he is on the exchange list,” Pugach told Interfax-Ukraine on Sept. 5.
Rakushin was charged with treason (Article 101 Part one), he said.
