Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank, TASkombank, Credit Dnipro Bank and FUIB signed an agreement with the State Agency for Highways of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) to provide a consortium loan in the amount of $376 million for a period of five years to finance the Big Construction program.
“Already today, Ukravtodor is receiving funding of $376 million and will be able to continue Big Construction. (…)The loan rate is 4.9% per annum in foreign currency,” head of Ukreximbank Yevhen Metzger said at the signing ceremony of the agreement on Aug. 28.
According to him, Ukreximbank, as the loan coordinator, provided 45% of the financing in the equivalent of $165 million, Oschadbank provided up to $150 million, Ukrgasbank – up to $50 million, Credit Dnipro Bank – $13 million, FUIB – up to $10 million, and TAScombank – up to $14 million.
It is indicated that the borrower received uniform conditions from all partner banks and in the future will interact exclusively with the coordinating bank.
The press service noted that the prerequisites for the implementation of the project were consultations with the Ministry of Infrastructure on the continuation of financing of the Big Construction program, where it was noted that no Ukrainian bank can independently provide such a significant amount of funds, because it exceeds the standards of banks.
