Public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia became the largest taxpayer in Ukraine in January-September, sending Hr 15.4 billion to the national budget compared with Hr 8.8 billion a year ago, Interfax-Ukraine has learnt from the Office of Large Taxpayers.

The top three largest taxpayers over the period also includes Naftogaz Ukrainy with Hr 11.4 billion paid (Hr 500 million more than a year ago) and B.A.T-Pryluky with Hr 10.8 billion (Hr 8.3 billion paid in January-September 2016).

Philip Morris Ukraine, a large tobacco company in Ukraine, paid Hr 9.6 billion, which is Hr 1 billion more than a year ago. National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom paid Hr 7.3 billion (Hr 3.8 billion year-over-year). PJSC JT International Ukraine sent Hr 6.8 billion to the budget (Hr 5.5 billion).

According to the Office of Large Taxpayers, the top ten largest taxpayers also includes Ukrtransgaz with Hr 6.2 billion, state-owned enterprise Energomarket with Hr 5.2 billion, Ukrnafta with Hr 5.2 billion and Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine with Hr 5.1 billion.
