“Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude for the important role of the U.S. Congress in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including consistent support for granting defensive weapons to Ukraine and stepping up the sanctions pressure on Russia,” the press service of the Head of State reports.
As noted, the further steps were coordinated to strengthen international efforts for the de-occupation of Ukrainian Crimea and Donbas. The President of Ukraine drew attention to the illegal activity of the Russian Federation in the water area of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.
