UkrInform: Ukrainian parliament equalizes rights of women and men in army

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the law “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine on Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men when Performing Military Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Other Military Formations.”

A total of 247 MPs voted for adoption of the relevant bill No. 6109 in the second reading and on the whole, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
