JSC Ukrzaliznytsia launched the first passenger train from the Kyiv-Passenger station after quarantine in the Kyiv-Kostiantynivka direction at 6:12 a.m. on Monday, June 1, Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy said on his Telegram channel on June 1 morning.

According to the report, more than 40 long-distance trains and 214 suburban trains are launched from June 1. Their list will be replenished.

The minister also noted that the regional commissions on issues of technological and environmental safety and emergency situations will determine the time and list of future rail runs. They form an appropriate decision regarding the possibility of easing quarantine and resuming transportation.

Krykliy added that interregional automobile passenger transport had been also resumed.

“We are working on a gradual launch of air service,” he wrote.
