The UN General Assembly will be discussing the situation in the occupied areas of Donbas and Crimea on February 20, President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine has said.

“On February 20, we will hold a discussion on the situation in the occupied territories of Donbas and in Crimea at the UN General Assembly,” Poroshenko said on Jan. 24 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The President of Ukraine said the initiative to deploy a peacekeeping mission to the occupied territory of Donbas will be discussed there, as well.
