You're reading: UNDP announces start of first tender to procure medicines using 2018 national budget

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has announced a first tender to procure medicines and medical products using the 2018 national budget funds.

Medicines for children with dwarfism will be procured. The tender has four lots: Somatropin in cartridges and vials and anti-D immunoglobulin vials of various doses.

Bids can be submitted before May 21. The preliminary meeting with tender participants will be held on May 10.

As reported, the Health Ministry of Ukraine on April 27, 2018 signed contracts for procurement at the expense of the state budget 2018. Significant changes were made to the contracts concerning the timing of the tendering procedures, as well as payment terms. Now, payment for supplies will be made at the stage of concluding contracts between organizations and medicine suppliers.
