You're reading: UNIAN: Bulgaria launches 2-year rehab program of Ukraine’s war veterans wounded in Donbas

The first group of 10 Ukrainian troops who were wounded, injured or handicapped in Donbas hostilities, set off for a new rehabilitation program in Bulgaria, the Ukrainian government reports.

“A group of 10 war veterans injured in the east of Ukraine on June 9 left for a two-week rehabilitation program in Bulgaria within the framework of the NATO’s Medical Rehabilitation Trust Fund. The initiative is being implemented based on the agreement between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine within the framework of the NATO’s Medical Rehabilitation Trust Fund for Ukraine,” the report said.
