You're reading: UNIAN: European Court of Human Rights obliges Russia to inform about state of four Ukrainian political prisoners’ health

The European Court of Human Rights has obliged the Russian Federation to inform about the state of health of Ukrainian citizens Stanislav Klykh, Volodymyr Balukh, Emir-Huseyn Kuku, and Serhiy Lytvynov, who have been detained by that country’s law-enforcement agencies illegally.

“The European Court of Human Rights has very quickly reacted to a request from the government of Ukraine on the state of health of Ukrainian political prisoners Stanislav Klykh, Volodymyr Balukh, Emir-Huseyn Kuku, and Serhiy Lytvynov,” Ukraine’s Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko said on Facebook on Aug. 23.
