Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January-February grew by 14.7 percent year-over-year (y-o-y), to 13.8 billion cubic meters (bcm).

Naftogaz and the transmission system operator will now be separate entities working independently of one another. Unbundling the gas system was a long-await reform critical to Ukraine’s greater integration with the European Union.
