Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said the launch of a new electricity market in Ukraine automatically eliminated the effect of the “Rotterdam Plus” formula for calculating the price of coal in electricity tariffs based on the European API2 index.

Groysman said he was resigning after comedian Volodymyr Zelensky was inaugurated as president on May 21 and called snap parliamentary elections for July 21, but his resignation needed to be validated by the Parliament.
