Kyiv’s Shevchenkivsky district court has suspended Vladyslav Manger, who is suspected of organizing an assassination of Kherson activist and civil servant Kateryna Handziuk’s, from the post of chairman of Kherson Regional Council for one month.

Vladislav Manger, chair of the Kherson Oblast Council and a supect in the murder of local official and anti-corruption activist Kateryna Gandziuk, sits in the Kyiv Appeals Court on Feb. 21, as the judge prepares to hear a complaint about his bail. However, the hearing was ultimately rescheduled for Feb. 28 because lawyers were absent.
