Russian-led forces mounted 36 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the past day, using artillery systems and mortars 12 times.
“Hostilities were most active near the villages of Luhanske, Zaitseve, Novoluhanske, Novoselivka, Novotroyitske, Bohdanivka, Hranitne and Chermalyk,” the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 a.m. Kyiv time on May 25.
